1. When cleaning wood floors you want to use a liquid that has a fast drying agent in it, like swiffer fluid or another liquid specifly for hardwood floors. Using regular water to mop or clean hardwood can cause the wood to absorb the water and creat cracks or make the wood shrink or bow.



2. Using the Cold/Cold water setting when washing your cloths will save you money on your electricity bill. If you use all cold water, you wont be draining the hot water heater so it wont need to refill and it wont need to re-heat the water.



3. Changing the Air filter in the furnace every 2 months instead of every 3 months has been said to save you money on your electricy bill as well.
